Rylan Benedict
Hi, I'm Rylan Benedict, a graphic designer and artist based in Scarborough, Maine. I create thoughtful, engaging visual work across branding, print, and digital media, combining creativity with clear communication. When I'm not designing, I draw inspiration from sports, film, and music, influences that shape both my creative process and my work.
Education and creative background
My passion for art began at an early age. As an 8th grader, I had the opportunity to take classes at Maine College of Art, and throughout my education I participated in gifted and talented art programs that helped develop my creative skills and artistic perspective.
I graduated from Cheverus High School in 2017, where I was recognized as a recipient of the Bronze Award for my artistic achievements. During my time there, my artwork gained recognition from my teachers, several of whom purchased my work and encouraged me to continue pursuing my creative path.
In 2022, I earned my degree in Graphic Design from Merrimack College. While at Merrimack, I was an active member of the Art Club and helped organize an art sale that raised funds to support animals affected by the Australian wildfires. This experience allowed me to combine my passion for art with community involvement and using creativity for a meaningful cause.
